STATE SENATE LEADERSHIP TOURS UNIVERSITY ENTERPRISE LAB

St. Paul 10/30/08 The Defense Alliance of Minnesota organized a tour of the University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL) today for selected leadership of the Minnesota State Senate. The event, requested by Senator Kathy Saltzman, Vice Chair of the Business, Industry and Jobs Committee, included briefs by three Defense Alliance member companies involved in high technology research for the Department of Defense (DoD) and a roundtable discussion on the state’s role in technology based economic development (TBED). The delegation of 6 senators also included Senator Larry Pogemiller, Senate Majority Leader.
